Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that facilities are well utilised
  • Supply necessary information to public, staff and Councillors
  • Handle bookings of facilities
  • Process financial deposits and payments
  • Keep analysis book of halls for back-up, control and statistical purposes
  • Order cleaning material and stationery
  • Write and type letters, memorandums and certificates

  • Manage the functions required by clubs and public facilities
  • Participate in the drafting of the budget in consultation with the Head of Recreation
  • Monitor expenditure and ensure optimal utilization of resources
  • Liaise with consultants and building maintenance
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of personnel
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements

  • Call Centre Management Course
  • Computer literacy

  • Manage the implementation of tasks in the dispatching centre related to strategy, transformation, projects, norms and standards and intergovernmental liaison
  • Execute human resources administrative functions
  • Prepare reports and statistics for the Manager
  • Prepare, control and advise as delegated
  • Control the mobile communication centre and other vehicles, and dispatching centre equipment in the section
  • Manage the operational functions and process of the dispatching centre
  • Manage the human resource, financial and material resources
  • Manage and control the vehicle tracking and alarm systems in the dispatching centre
  • Determine client needs, expectations and concerns regarding emergency communications
